General Updates

I met up with KABATAAN Party-list first nominee Mong Palatino, Sarah, Jhay, Bikoy, Vencer, etc., yesterday morning to finalize the KABATAAN Cyber-Fever campaign of the party-list. I was feeling pretty weird that time, but blaaah, so what. I wanted to throw up and felt that I would at any time. That’s why I just slept the rest of the day away yesterday. When I woke up, I cried. I was like, WTF?! Must be the frigging hormones again. The red visitor’s last visit was…uhm, I forgot already. February? Hurrah for being irregular — in more ways than one.

See Mong Palatino? You are looking at what MLQ3 says as “the first blogger to end up serving in the House of Representatives.” KABATAAN met the 2-percent threshold, with 2.1% total votes, on the latest PDI and SWS survey.

Juned’s going to vote on May 14. Every registered voter in the Philippines should too. And, as they say, if you choose not to vote, you have no right to complain. Because hey, news for you: you didn’t do anything to make the situation better. So make that one lousy vote count, because no matter how lousy that vote is, it still counts. Usapang lasing na ito! But hey, it makes sense, dummy!

Meanwhile, my blog got another press mention in Inquirer.net: Youth party list group to end campaign in cyberspace. Thanks for the heads up, The Jester-in-Exile. More traffic to come, methinks. Connie Veneracion posted a forwarded email that kind of explains why some people are too much enthusiastic to vote. An interesting and enlightening read.

Jozzua thinks I can capitalize on the fame my blog’s getting to drive in heaps of money (haha, as if). I’m thinking of sponsoring another child to go to school, so why not? I’ll give much thought about it.

Anyway, anyone up for 2 commas having sex? I hope someone can give me a Comma Sutra T-Shirt. It’s simply wicked.

Lastly, because I’m hella sleepy already, follow me on Twitter and join my community in MyBlogLog. Since people always seems to be at loss on what to say whenever I talk politics. Blah.

Support KABATAAN Party-list!

  2. the jester-in-exile

or, at the very least, the first-seat nominee for the party-list organization of the filipino cyberdenizen.

I also read the newspaper today and I did see that Kabataan is one of the ones who’ll probably have a seat in Congress. Congratulations! When I saw the newspaper, I immediately looked at the results of the survey and look for the names of the partylist I would like to win. I only like two partylists and one is Kabataan. It used to be one but when I saw the commercial of Kabataan, I thought na they are also worthy to win. So Hoorah!

Glad to have met you and Bikoy in the flesh.

di ba depende sa percent ng total votes yung magiging number of seats na makukuha ng party list? dapat mas madami ang votes ng kabataan para mas madaming seats. at si ms shari ang isa sa mga manunugkulan! hehe. :P

So I’ve never really bothered much with politics (back there and here in the US), but I’m quite amused with your post just because I have a whole slew of younger cousins (and a friend since elementary) who’re affiliated with KABATAAN. Though I don’t really approve wholeheartedly with their participation (hearing about how my cousins are turning out irks me at the very least), it’s not like what I think matters, so whatever. :blank:

Only two more days before the election–excited na ako! I really think Kabataan Party List would win!

Congratulations about the mention in PDI! You’re nearing the rockstar status. Hehe!

By the way, my girlfriend’s irregular since puberty. That, until we had a relationship. After one year, her visits started to become regular. Haha! I’d like to think that the Casanova in me had something to do with it. Hehe!

I have a friend who only gets visited once a year. And when it does visit her, she has to wear adult diapers. Scary.

    I hope you get well!
