Hosting

As I have lots of space to spare, I’ve decided to open hosting again for all personal/blog sites (including photoblogs), portfolios, listings, directories, and other network sites. All, I guess. I’m not at all picky. Just ask me. I’m pretty sure I’ll accept almost everyone. Though please understand that I offer only subdomain hosting. =)

I leave hostees be after I’ve set up their account. I don’t bother them with things; I don’t monitor their accounts closely. Just as long as they stick by the rules, there shouldn’t be any problem.

I give more than a blogger ever needs: 30-200MB space, 60GB of shared bandwidth among hostees and myself…the works.

Notes

  • I hate sticky caps as much as I hate GMA. Not to mention some useless and totally annoying javascripts. Please, don’t.
  • I impose that you credit all your resources and never leave anyone out. You can credit Google, but not for the images and other materials per se; you must credit those to the sites which you’ve taken them from. Don’t be stupid.
  • You can offer fonts and scripts for downloads just as long as you’ve made sure that they’re free for redistribution and that you’ve included the original files that come with them, or that you’ve asked the creators for permission.
  • You can sell layouts but make sure that you’ve used your own works in them. You cannot use noncommercial materials. I can’t stress that enough. If you’ve downloaded brushes, patterns, textures, images, and other web stuff, and it’s been clearly stated that they’re not to be used anyhow to gain money, you can’t use them anyhow to gain money. Get that?
  • Yes, no “link me back or I’ll kill you” nor “keep in touch so I know you’re alive.” Just basic netiquette. ^_^
  • I try to be as helpful as I can with my hostees, so should there be problems, may they be script bugs or even personal issues, don’t hesitate to talk with me. If you’re from the Philippines, you can ask for my mobile number/s to make things a bit more convenient. =)
