Lakbayan: How much of the Philippines have you visited?
My Lakbayan grade is D!
How much of the Philippines have you visited? Find out at Lakbayan!

I’ve mentioned this a couple of times before, but I’ll say it again: I’m not a very well-traveled person. In fact, I hardly travel at all. My parents and brother have been to different places in the Philippines, even Asia, but me? Uh, next question please?
It’s such a shame, really. Even with WOW Philippines, which is supposed to make traveling around the Philippines cheaper, it’s still so darned expensive for me to go to anywhere, that the places I’ve really ever been to are Metro Manila and Baguio City. Thanks to the BMI activities of my former college organization, I’ve also visited Tarlac and Benguet. My parents are lucky because they get to have seminars in Ilocos, Palawan, and other places. My brother’s also lucky because he’s young and small enough to tag along with them. And I’m unlucky because I’m such an ignoramus when it comes to Philippine geography. Ahh, the drawbacks of not having a province at all.
I’ve met Eugene a couple of times before — the Blog Parteeh last January being the first (he’s part of the lucky table) — and he never seemed to be one of those people who would make me feel awfully bad about myself (peace Eugene, hehe). But, well, I feel very, as Migs Paraz puts it, unFilipino.
Oh, I swear I’m gonna get at least a B before I die, even if it kills me.
I don’t travel much either…I would really love to one day though. I guess I have more than some…but that’s only because my dad drives and 18wheeler and I used to go with him when I was younger…so I have been to most of the states.
Maybe one day you will be able to.
Very cute smilies by the way
i have never visited the Philippines before. maybe because i’m not even pinay. but i have a bunch of friends that are. (actually .. all my friends are)
i’m sure you’ll be able to travel around later on
asus umasa pa ako na mataas makukuha ko. aba shempre D din. although nakarating na ako sa southern part ng Phils. Oh well.. hindi na siguro tataas sa D ang grade ko kahit na before ako mamatay. ngeks.
Bah, I cant take the quiz, it’s blocked by IT and my proxy eats my score.
shari! konting kadyot na lng B na ako! im currently a C+ sama ka sa akin next time at sabay nating i invade ang pinas! LOLz.
I won’t even dare answering the quiz. Haha! Kung ikaw nga D traveler na, ako pa kaya. LOL. The farthest I’ve gone was… Nueva Vizcaya? Ewan.
haha don’t feel bad, there’s alot of places here in the South of the US I’ve never been too either. I’m kinda traveled but I’ve never been outside of the Southeastern US. I guess I’m just odd like that lol
Hehe, I don’t travel much either!
that application is really awesome. neat isn’t it?
sadly, I also got a D. At least with this, we can keep track of our travel destinations in the philippines.
Shari, don’t feel bad. I don’t want some mysterious girl getting angry at me! (Peace!) It doesn’t mean that if you haven’t seen much of the Philippines then you’re a bad Pinoy. You know of course that it’s much more than that.
I don’t have a province too! Both of my parents grew up in towns that were to become part of Metro Manila.
That’s why I don’t want to fill my own Lakbayan Map. I’ve never really travelled that much. It’s not really the time constraint. It’s more of a financial constraint. Haha.
I’ve been to Pinas last year and I absolutely loved it there and I’m planning on returning there this year. Though I only traveled around Malate and Makati area, I’ve been to Batangas and Tagaytay (short trips). I’d love to go to Surigao del Norte though. And of course, the other provinces!
The farthest place I’ve been is at Manila. It wasn’t even for a vacation but for papers to be done. My favorite place is Intramuros though nainis ako sa Jolibee dun kasi nalock lang naman ako sa restroom. Haha. Twas an embarassing experience.
The title of this post should be “I’ve visited Western Luzon”. Hahaha.
I got a C-.
Been to most parts of Central/Northern Luzon, various trips to Leyte/Cebu/Bora every now and then, but never in Mindanao.
I really, really, reaaaaalllly need to go out more dammit!
I’m scared to take it… I’ll feel like such a failure
But my cousins and I have plans of traveling around the Philippines after college… We’ll see if that actually happens
My grade is C-
I only got a D
how sad.
Great creation though!
pag yumaman ako lilibutin ko talaga pinas! gagawin ko talaga yun, pangarap ko din yun! :D,
Hi Shari. There are so many places in the Philippines that I haven’t set foot on. Ironic how I dream of going to different countries when I haven’t even toured my own country yet.
Ah… That test. Took it a few days ago and my grade was F.
Ay naku. Aside from Metro Manila, the only places I’ve been are Angeles (where I am right now), Pangasinan, Subic, Zambalez, Tagaytay. That’s it. *lol*
simulan mo na. masarap magbiyahe.
sheesh. if you got a D, then how about my F!
I’ve been to New York and Tokyo, pero never ever pa akong lumalampas sa boundary ng Metro Manila at Region IV. Nyahahah.
I got a D as well. It is quite funny that I travelled more here in Europe and even covered almost all major cities in Norway but havent travelled that much in the Phils. Even though I always got a chance to do so but usually turn it down coz due to hectic sched and of course not really wanting to go and explore
I got an F… but then again, I’ve lived in Canada for most of my life… so I’ve got a VALID excuse, HAHA. One day, I shall return to the Philippines in grand Douglas MacArthur style… with doves released to the skies, trumpets blaring… Yeah, whatever.
But YOU… YOU have no excuse to get a D!
hi shari. i’d like to hear from you again when you accomplished the B grade
you should really go out there and explore the world beyond the limits of what you see. it’s really worth it (–,)
just took the test, it turned out to be a C+. Thanks to Nanay & Tatay who let me study and gallivant in Metro Manila; to my PR firm who assigned me a client who took me around Cavite, Laguna, BUlacan, Pampanga and Quezon; to my persistent classmates studying in Baguio from 1995-2000; to my honey who would drive me to Tagaytay and Batangas more often that I could expect; and to those government-sponsored trips I had for years 2002-2004…and most of all, to all the chances and opportunities that bestowed me this Lakbayan’s C+!
a B- here
love to travel and explore places.
seems ‘pinas is but a mystery to the mysterious girl
